O poor neglected DA, I will start posting to you again soon, honest. Been very busy for the month of January setting up my print studio and I'm pleased to say its up and running though I'm still doing a lot of fiddling with the press settings. It's a bit of a learning curve figuring out the pressure on a new press. I've pulled a few test prints of old plates and I'm hoping to start making new plates soon. I'm also doing some printing at the Black Church Studio in Dublin which I'm really excited about. I'm going to be working with some copper plates which I haven't done before. Trying not to get too caught up with etching as I've a few monoprint commissions I'd like to knock out in the next few weeks.

A whole print studio? Good grief! What did that set you back?

lol I think it sounds alot grander then it is. The press cost the most but its only a small press no where near the massive 5 grand presses I'd love to own. I converted the largest room in my house and then its just lots of bits and pieces. I lucked out, who ever lived in the house before left a massive drawing table behind them which has saved me alot not having to buy a table to work on. I'm going to post some pics on my flickr account later today.

awesome, i wish i had a place to put my little press, still working on getting things placed. best of luck with your studio.
